Step Four - Create a One Time Offer (OTO)

When your visitors opt-in to your list, they know that they will be receiving your free report or product. But, that doesn't make you any money then and there.

If you're going to take all of this time to set up your squeeze page, you want to pull as much money out of it as you can. So, the moment that they sign up for your list, you're going to redirect them to a page that offers them a product with incredible value at a special price that they will only see one time.

When they reach this one time offer (OTO) page they only have two options. The first option is to buy the one time offer right now while the second is to pass on that offer and pay more later on because they will never have a chance to buy it at this price again.

A one time offer is an absolutely incredible tool that can pull in some amazing profits. This method has been used for several years, but it is still very effective. I would guarantee that at least 90% of Internet marketers that make their full-time living online make use of one time offers.

What will you be offering on this page?

Here is the absolute beauty of a one time offer. You don't have to create your own product to sell. You can use a product the has already been created as long as you have the Private Label Rights (PLR) to that product.

Private label rights give you the right to re-sell a product and keep 100% of the profits even though you didn't create the product yourself. The idea is that the original author of the product sells the private label rights for a little bit more than the product itself is actually worth. Then, you can sell the product to others - over and over again while keeping the profits.

Here's an example - if you are trying to target an audience of online marketers, you might want to offer an informational product about affiliate marketing.

All you need to do is find a good quality product on that topic and purchase the private label rights. Those rights might cost you $27, but you can re-sell that product for $11. If you offer it to every person that signs up for your list, you could earn $11 over and over again. Do you see the value in that?

The best part about private label rights products is that they are already created for you. This saves you tons of time and that time can be used setting up your one time offer page and promoting it.

A few things to think about when you set up your one time offer page

Creating your one time offer page is a lot like creating your squeeze page except you don't have an opt-in form. Instead, you'll have a purchase button. Once again, this is a manual about the method and not so much about the technical aspects so I would definitely suggest that you learn a little bit about the basics of HTML so you can build your own one time offer pages.

However, if you don't want to learn the basics of HTML, there are many one time offer page generators that you can use - just like squeeze page generators.

Keep your OTO related to your original squeeze page. If your squeeze page offers a free report about selling products on eBay, offer an eBay related product on your one time offer page.

Make sure that you tell your visitors WHY they need to purchase your one time offer. Tell them why you have created the package and why you're offering it only one time. Emphasize that it is related to the free report that you offered them, but it's better!

Make sure that you let them know, loud and clear, that this offer will only be seen once and that it's a steal because it's priced way below market value.

STOP - BEFORE YOU CONTINUE

You're only going to see this page once, so I suggest that you read every word very

carefully because it's just that important.

"Hi, this is XXXX and I want you to read this entire page. Don't close it because you'll only see it once. I've put together an incredibly special offer at an incredible 'one time only' price..."

If they pass on your one time offer, it's not a big deal because they are still subscribed to your list and you can routinely e-mail them messages about other products.

A few words about payment

When you set your price, if you're using a private label rights product, there's probably a recommended price. Don't set the price too high or people are going to be scared away. But, don't set it to low or it will look like it's not valuable.

A good price point to think about for this method is something around $11 to $27. Using odd numbers is a good way for the price tag to grab attention.

As far as accepting payment for your one time offer, I recommend that you use PayPal. PayPal is an established and very secure payment processor that can be set up within about an hour. It's free to use and you can quickly be accepting credit cards and debit cards.
